40th BIKER FEST 2026

A birthday to celebrate: from May 14 to 17, the seaside resort of Lignano Sabbiadoro (UD) will host the 2026 edition of Biker Fest International, Europe's largest motorcycle gathering preparing to celebrate its first 40 years

Following the extraordinary success of the last edition, which recorded 265,000 attendees over the weekend, BIKER FEST INTERNATIONAL confirms itself as Europe's largest motorcycle event and third in the world after the historic US rallies of Sturgis and Daytona. Capable of attracting hundreds of thousands of enthusiasts and over 350 international exhibitors every year, the BFI is set in 2026 to reach a special milestone, celebrating its 40th anniversary in grand style.

Born back in 1987 within the biker movement, the event has gradually expanded to embrace today the world of two wheels in full 360°, while maintaining a strong connection with its rebellious origins and the "custom" universe. The beating heart of the event is the Custom Bike Show, one of the longest-running in the Old Continent, which since its first edition anticipates customization trends by previewing some of the most spectacular specials created by major international builders. The only Italian stage of the AMD World Championship of Custom Bike Building, the Lignano round is also the finale of the national Italian Motorcycle Championship (IMC), with a total prize pool exceeding 10,000 euros.

Alongside the established rock music festival, the areas that made BFI unique are confirmed: Europe's largest and most articulated Demo Ride pole, with official participation from motorcycle manufacturers; the e-Mobility Village dedicated to new low-impact environmental solutions; the Off Road area with its off-road exhibitions and the Market area, home to 50cc Fever Fest and Kustom&Classic, a gathering reserved for classic cars and original and customized youngtimers. This is also where the US Car Reunion will take place, Italy's largest meeting of American cars that celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2025 with as many as 550 vehicles.

Among the main announcements for this special "birthday" are the Sisterhood Run, an on-the-road experience dedicated to female motorcyclists, and the Customizer's Parade, a procession featuring builders and custom bike makers themselves opening, riding their one-offs, the Saturday Night Fever, the highly anticipated Saturday evening parade. Finally, alongside the traditional Moto Tours in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, this year will see the novelty of Curvando 'Rodeo Ride', a challenge that blends the thrill of competition with the pleasure of discovery. The playground? An entire region with its natural, historical-artistic and gastronomic beauties, all to be discovered on two wheels with a touch of healthy competition.
